Wash Day

So this weeks theme was "Rolling Down the River" and we were supposed to get our favourite curl effects using rollers and other tools. Well, I was lazy about using magnetic rollers and I sure wasn't about to try flexi rods again *shivers* so I settled for something a little out of my comfort zone... Bantu Knots!
Still onboard the bare minimum wagon, I settled for 3 products: Motions lavish conditioning shampoo, Organics hair mayonnaise and olive oil.
I pre-pooed the day before with Olive oil and a little bit of the organics hair treatment; I shampooed the next day with the motions shampoo, t-shirt dried for about 15mins, deep conditioned for about 35mins with organics, rinsed then air dried.
When my hair was about 70% dry, I sealed with olive oil, proceeded with the bantu knots and left it for over 24 hours to dry. Yeah, I walked around looking like this:
But I dare say that the ridiculous look was was totally worth it! My hair came out soft, bouncy and super moisturised!

I think I've just found a new best friend in bantu knots, it is a great way to retain length because I haven't been able to touch my hair since! But ummm.... I just have one question though:
